　　Research assistants are not new.

　　As early as February 2009, in order to cope with the adverse impact of the global financial crisis on my country’s macroeconomic and employment situation, and to further strengthen the employment of college graduates, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education and other departments jointly issued the "Regarding Encouragement and Stability of Research Project Units" "Several Opinions on Employment of College Graduates", for the first time it is proposed to hire college graduates as research assistants or assistants to participate in research work.

　　——Expand the connotation scope of scientific research assistants from limited to project management assistant staff in the past, and broaden them to four types of research assistant research, operation and maintenance of experimental (engineering) facilities and experimental technology, transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and academic assistants and financial assistants. personnel;

　　——In the national science and technology plan project funds, specific funding channels are specified to support the related expenditures of scientific research assistants, and the supporting policies for college graduates engaged in scientific research assistants are specified;
