The economic growth rate, which was negative in the first and second quarters of the Corona 19 shock, rebounded by nearly 2% in the third quarter.



The Bank of Korea announced that the real GDP growth rate for the third quarter of this year was 1.9% compared to the previous quarter.



The GDP growth rate was negative for the second consecutive quarter, recording -1.3% in the first quarter and -3.2% in the second quarter.



In particular, the growth rate in the second quarter was the lowest in 11 years and 6 months after the fourth quarter of 2008 at the time of the financial crisis.



In the third quarter, GDP growth was -1.3% compared to the same period last year.
