The line is laid along the corridor of the Hefei Sixth Development Axis in the Hefei Metropolitan Circle, starting from the West Ring Road Station in Lu'an City in the west. It ends at Changning Avenue Station in Shushan District, Hefei City. The line is mainly laid along Dabieshan Road, West Wanxi Avenue, and G312 National Road in the central city of Lu'an, connecting the central city of Lu'an, the eastern new city of Lu'an, Feixi County of Hefei, and Shushan District.
