Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) will hold a series of specialized virtual sessions and seminars on the sidelines of the fifth session of the Dubai Solar Energy Exhibition, which is held in conjunction with the 22nd session of the Water, Energy and Environment Technology Exhibition (WETEX).

The Authority is organizing WETEX and Dubai Solar Energy 2020, via a virtual online platform, from 26 to 28 October, under the generous directions of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, and Chairman of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority.

The discussion sessions throughout the three days of the "Dubai Solar Energy" exhibition will deal with a range of issues related to the future of energy, and enhancing the resilience of renewable energy assets and companies in light of the health crisis produced by the "Covid-19" pandemic.

The first day of the exhibition will witness the holding of four discussion seminars, focusing on ways to accelerate the implementation of solar energy projects in the MENA region.
