Recently, the reporter came to Xiuning County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province to visit the local chrysanthemum farmers' road to poverty alleviation and prosperity.

It has both ornamental value and medicinal functions. It is known as medicinal and The best product in the drink, together with Hang Ju, Chu Ju, and Bo Ju, is called the four famous chrysanthemums in China.

Shen Songbai has grown tribute chrysanthemum in the local area for 40 years. He not only planted it himself, but also drove local poor households to plant tribute chrysanthemum together. The family income has been greatly improved.

[Explanation] The production of Huangshan tribute chrysanthemum is very particular. After the fresh chrysanthemum is harvested, it is dried in the shade of a bamboo net, and then carefully baked with charcoal fire. The finished tribute chrysanthemum is preferably a big white one.
According to Hong Zhibin, chairman of the Nantang Chrysanthemum Professional Cooperative in Xiuning County, thanks to the excellent natural environment and pollution-free planting methods of Huangshan, the selenium content of tribute chrysanthemum is very high, and selenium-rich tribute chrysanthemum is very popular.

According to Wen Tingting, Party Secretary of Lantian Town, every time when the chrysanthemums are in full bloom, local tourism festivals will be held to drive local people's income through rural tourism.

The second aspect is to combine with our tourism, because our Lantian geographical location is very good, the regional advantage is very obvious, close to Huangshan, Xidi, Hongcun, and Qiyun Mountain and other scenic spots, so every year comes the chrysanthemum blooming season. We are also creating some routes for chrysanthemum appreciation, and many tourists come to take photos and watch.

The county has 3 leading chrysanthemum processing enterprises, 4 chrysanthemum straw comprehensive utilization enterprises, and 6 chrysanthemum farmer cooperatives, rich in selenium. The planting area of tribute chrysanthemum reaches 330,000 mu, with an annual output of 6,000 tons of dried flowers and an output value of 350 million yuan.
