Coronavirus: What are the (rare) support measures planned for households?

The portfolio of many French households is likely to ring a little hollow.

To deal with the Covid-19 crisis, the executive has in fact decided to focus most of its support measures for the benefit of companies, presented as the engine of the recovery.

"We are not going to drop the supply policy" had attacked the Minister of the Economy Bruno Le Maire at the beginning of the summer.

He kept his word: the “France relaunch” plan provides for 20 billion euros in tax cuts for companies.

In comparison, support measures for precarious people represent 733 million euros, a sum 28 times less.

A few days ago, the executive added a new "Covid bonus" for the most vulnerable, but some members of the opposition believe that much more should be done to support households and revive consumption.
