Department store chain HEMA is getting a new owner.
HEMA will be owned by investment fund Parcom and Mississippi Ventures, behind which the Van Eerd family is behind.
They also own the Jumbo supermarkets.
HEMA announced this on Wednesday.
HEMA fell into the hands of a group of creditors in mid-June.
Before that, the chain was owned by businessman Marcel Boekhoorn.
For this new acquisition, the Dutch investment fund Parcom and the investment vehicle of the Van Eerd family, from Jumbo, have joined forces.
Eight weeks have been allocated to complete the deal.
The takeover is worth around 440 million euros.
