As it was announced that a man in his 30s who was working as a courier has died again recently, voices are growing that the poor working environment needs to be changed.

The dead courier usually told the people around him that the work was too difficult, but the company insists that he died because of a chronic illness.

Kim Mo, 36, an engineer at Hanjin Courier who died on the 12th, wrote down the number of shipments on a mobile phone calendar.

Right before the Chuseok holiday, it is said that 200 to 300 cases were delivered a day, 301 cases were delivered six days before death, and 420 cases were delivered five days ago.

This is a text message from Mr. Kim to a colleague at 4:28 am on the 8th.

“When I get home, I have to go home at 5 o'clock, eat and wash and not sleep, so I have to organize my things again.”

Immediately after Mr. Kim's death, Hanjin Express said that the deceased's death was due to a chronic illness.

[Hanjin Courier representative: I confirmed from an acquaintance of the deceased that the reason for his death was due to a cardiovascular disorder. As of now, it is believed that he died of a chronic disease.]

Hanjin Express also claimed that Kim's delivery volume was around 200, similar to other drivers.

It is a circumstantial expression that the delivery volume was not excessive, but it is different from Kim's cell phone and statements from colleagues.

[Jingyeongho / courier workers karōshi daechaekwi: 9 at night, but ask yourself this reduces some amount so that the top (is hard) would've been the Hanjin continue to push for delivery in the region]

bereaved have a chronic disease had no usual for Kim Mr. Kim, who was healthy, said he lost about 15kg in weight since the start of the delivery.

[Bereaved Family: If there is a record of my brother going to the hospital after taking medicine because of a chronic illness, he would admit it a little and say,'You went because of hardship.' I want to ask. 200 is the small quantity.] The

courier union said that Hanjin Courier, which has a large delivery area covered by one courier driver, said that 200 deliveries were equivalent to 300-400 of CJ Logistics, the number one in the industry. I condemned it.
