Developing 55 hp more than the “normal” GTI, the Clubsport has a self-locking differential that allows the front end to cash in all this power.
It can be recognized on the outside by its 18-inch rims as well as a few specific elements, such as its redesigned front end or its oval tailpipes.

Available with optional adaptive damping, it offers different driving modes, including one particularly suited to a circuit with rough terrain like the Nürburgring.
According to Volkswagen, thanks to all these improvements, the Clubsport completed an all of this legendary circuit in 13 seconds less than a GTI.
