As TASS points out with reference to the fund's report on the prospects for the development of the world economy, the organization believes that Russia's GDP in 2020 will fall to 4.1%.

Prior to that, the IMF predicted a fall of 6.6%.

Also, according to the fund's estimates, in 2021, Russia's GDP will recover at a slower pace than expected - growth will be 2.8% instead of 4.1%.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Economy of Kazakhstan Ruslan Dalenov spoke about the level of reduction in the country's GDP in 2020.
