The supermarket chain Dia
has proposed an incentivized voluntary leave program for 400
office
employees
, within the transformation process that the supermarket chain is carrying out, as reported by the company.
These losses
will not affect store or warehouse personnel,
where, in fact, even the workforce has been reinforced, but the corporate headquarters and regional centers.
The chain has indicated that it
has opened a dialogue table with the legal representatives of the workers
to establish the bases of this plan.
Dia has a total of 27,000 workers in Spain in its network of stores, warehouses and office
The chain
has indicated its intention to have a "close collaboration"
with unions and workers, "in order for everyone to be part of the success of the new project."
Dia is immersed in a transformation plan to get out of the serious crisis that she went through almost two years ago and that was about to lead her to bankruptcy.
According to this plan,
in the next three years a third of its network of stores will be reformed,
up to 1,000
stores will
be relocated through new openings and a new franchise management model will be implemented.
