The Ministry of Economy called on the emerging companies in the country concerned with technological development and industrialization to take advantage of the opportunities to participate in the first global initiative for the circular economy under the title: “Circular Economy Turns to Digital” launched by the Innovation Center of the Italian “Intesa San Paolo Group”, and "Karibloa Factory", in cooperation with "Microsoft of America", according to two specific conditions.
The Ministry indicated, in a circular yesterday, that the product is in the final stage to start the laboratory examination stage, in preparation for commercial production, or that it has been developed, and commercial production can begin.
She added that the participation is concentrated in three main areas, namely: increasing and expanding supply chains by focusing on increasing commercial models and overlapping supply chain operations, extending the life span of products and raw materials by developing the infrastructure required to keep the product sustainability period for a longer period of time, and finally the related designs. With waste and pollution, by accelerating products and practical steps to eliminate waste through renewable sources, to reach "zero" waste.
The Ministry stressed that launching this initiative aims to accelerate the process of moving the circular economy through digital technology, stressing that the UAE is the first country in the region and one of the world leaders in supporting and spreading the circular economy.
She pointed out that the responsibility to protect the innovations and inventions of the participating companies from the state rests with the innovators and owners of emerging companies participating in the initiative, and that they must take all legal measures to protect their innovations, stressing that it encourages them to register their inventions and innovations according to the principles followed in the International Patent Registration Center. In the Ministry of Economy.
The Ministry stressed that it is not responsible for any part related to the administration or the stages and steps of selecting the emerging companies participating in the final stage, or any agreement that may arise from any emerging companies participating from the state with any international companies during the implementation stages of the initiative in Italy.
The responsibility for protecting innovations and inventions rests with the owners of the participating companies.
