Revolution, revolution

" chanted the demonstrators in front of the residence of Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem.

The police for their part warn that they will check that the demonstrators live within a kilometer of the rally as stipulated in the new rules.

They are only a few hundred in this place which has seen much larger demonstrations.

But elsewhere in the country, at crossroads and on bridges, they number in all tens of thousands.

Betty Eppel, originally from France and survivor of the Shoah, does not hide her concern about the situation.

“

It is no longer a free country, it is a dictatorship,

” she says.

Young people are asking questions and I feel that many are going to leave the country.

 ”.

This week again, clashes between police and protesters in Tel Aviv and a dozen arrests are reported.

In Jerusalem, demonstrators claim to have been attacked by right-wing activists.

Incidents that have been recurring regularly for several weeks.
