An international call for unifying the "Corona" checks for travelers

The International Airports Council and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) launched a joint call for a globally unified approach to conducting "Corona" checks before travel for international travelers as an alternative to quarantine measures.

In a statement issued yesterday, the two sides called for cooperation between countries to remove quarantine restrictions and resume air traffic, as a unified and organized approach to checks will provide an effective way to give governments confidence again to reopen borders without quarantine, which will restore travelers' confidence in air transport.
