The Dubai economy stated that it had violated four commercial establishments, and warned two others, for not adhering to the precautionary measures to limit the "Covid-19" pandemic.

She stated, in a statement issued yesterday, that this came during the supervisory visits and tours that were carried out by the field inspection teams of the Commercial Supervision and Consumer Protection Sector, the day before yesterday, and included many open markets and commercial centers, in order to ensure that commercial establishments adhere to the precautionary measures.

The Dubai Economic Department stated that the violations included a retail store, a textile and fabric trade shop, a perfume trade facility, in addition to a sewing and embroidery facility, noting that the four facilities were violated due to the non-commitment of their workers to wear masks.

She added that the sites of the violating facilities included one of the shopping centers, in addition to the areas of Naif, Al-Daghaya and Ayal Nasser.

The Dubai Economy indicated that the warning on the other two establishments was due to the lack of physical distancing posters, pointing out that these warnings come with the aim of educating establishments about the necessity of commitment, and its role in ensuring the continuity of their work, and protecting their employees and customers alike.

It reported that the number of establishments that meet the conditions and precautionary measures reached 733.
