Check your physical condition in advance with the app To reduce the risk of corona infection at the event October 3, 11:46

While restrictions on holding events are being relaxed due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, only those who have purchased tickets for concerts etc. will use the smartphone app to record changes in their physical condition in advance and only those who are unlikely to be infected. Venture companies in Tokyo are making efforts to reduce the risk of spreading infection by allowing them to enter.

This initiative is being promoted by two companies, the medical IT venture "Arum" and the electronic ticket system "Boardwalk".

We ask electronic ticket purchasers to take pictures of their faces with a smartphone camera every day from 10 days before the event, and measure the change in skin color to measure the "blood oxygen saturation concentration".

It is saved in the app along with the body temperature measured every day, and the doctor checks these data.

As a result, only those who are judged to have a low possibility of infection can enter.

In addition, by linking the purchaser's contact information and seat information with an electronic ticket, it is possible to track close contacts even if there is an infected person.

Demonstration experiments are currently underway, and both companies are aiming for commercialization from next year onwards.

Teppei Sakano, CEO of Alum, said, "While there are many asymptomatic infected people, we can stop the spread of infection by measuring in advance. We would like to contribute to the tourism industry in the future."
