Companies with less than 11 employees could benefit from a works council (CE).

This is what the Force Ouvrière union offers, which announced on Tuesday the launch of a free platform offering services for employees of Very Small Enterprises (TPE).

Home help, employees of hairdressing salons, jewelry stores, butchers, bakeries are affected by this measure ... "Our idea is to convince them to join", noted Yves Veyrier, secretary general of FO, during a press conference.

This morning, the press conference took place for the launch of #PASSsolidariteTPE, an FO union platform providing support to salaried & non-salaried workers of #VSEs.

This was held in the presence of the secretary general @YVeyrier.

For "isolated" employees

While VSEs do not have works councils, unlike companies with more than 11 employees, www.tpe.fgtafo.fr offers free access until March 2021 to employees and owners of VSEs.

It offers the advantages traditionally offered by a CSE (ex-works council or CE): leisure, travel, sport, fashion, mutual ... There is also a geolocation of job offers and a literacy service, between other.

During confinement and since the crisis, "many isolated employees who do not have unions in their companies have turned to us for information on health issues, partial activity, but also for questions of purchasing power" , underlined Yves Veyrier.

This platform, "it is a way for FO to be in solidarity with these employees in the current period", he added.

The contribution to FO, which claims 500,000 members, revolves around 100 to 120 euros per year (66% of which is reimbursed as a tax credit).
