So far, eight counties and cities including Suichang, Songyang, Longquan, Qingyuan in Zhejiang, and Songxi, Zhenghe, Pingnan, and Zhouning in Fujian have ended their history of no railway access.

It starts from Quzhou City in Zhejiang Province in the north, passes through Lishui City in Zhejiang Province, Nanping City in Fujian Province in the south, and ends at Ningde City in Fujian Province. The line is 379 kilometers long and is a national railway I A single-track electrified railway with a combined passenger and freight line, with a design speed of 160 kilometers per hour, and 13 passenger stations on the entire line.
