Dubai Economy violates 18 establishments and warns 12 others for not adhering to the precautionary measures

The field inspection teams of the Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Sector in the "Dubai Economy" violated 18 various establishments, while a warning was directed to 12 other establishments for non-compliance with precautionary measures to limit and prevent the emerging corona virus "Covid-19".

During a field tour, the inspection team issued 6 violations for establishments in the retail sector, two violations for the ready-to-wear trade, 4 violations in the textile and fabric trade, and one violation in each of: perfume trade, mobile phone trade, electronics trade, and the trade of computers, to In addition to violating two bodybuilding halls, in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council.

The sites of the violating facilities were distributed to include a number of shopping centers, the International City, Al-Daghaya, and Eyal Nasser, as the reasons for the violations were as follows: 16 violations due to the non-commitment of employees and workers in the violating facilities to wear masks, and two violations for not taking the necessary measures to take into account the physical distance.

Inspection teams issued a warning to 12 other facilities, due to the lack of physical distancing posters as required.

Yesterday, the teams carried out 755 field tours and field visits, which included many areas in various parts of the emirate, as part of their continuous efforts to ensure compliance with the implementation of precautionary measures and measures aimed at curbing the spread of the emerging Covid-19 virus, and the number of shops that meet the conditions and precautionary measures reached 725.
