In the tourism market, inter-provincial tourism and intra-provincial tourism are simultaneously developing.

As of mid-September, the resumption rate of travel agencies across the country has reached 75.72%, and the group travel business has recovered to about 40% of the same period last year (2019); online travel business orders have increased significantly, product unit prices have gradually recovered, and the overall business has returned to the same period last year. The business of star-rated hotels is speeding up to recover, and 9,421 hotels have resumed operations, with a resumption rate of 91%.

[Explanation] The National Day Mid-Autumn Festival "Double Festival" holiday is approaching. The person in charge of the relevant department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism introduced that in order to meet the needs of tourists visiting and scenic spots during the National Day Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the number of tourists in tourist attractions has never exceeded the maximum carrying capacity of 50 % Is adjusted to 75%.

At present, scenic spots in various places are promoting the implementation of an appointment system in accordance with the requirements of “limited, appointment, and peak shifting”.

[Concurrent] Shan Gangxin, Deputy Director of the Resource Development Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism

Regarding tourist attractions, we will focus on orderly opening and booking tours under the premise of making overall plans for normalized epidemic prevention and control.

In addition to regular appointments, accelerate the promotion of the time-sharing appointment system for 5A scenic spots.

Up to now, in addition to some open ticket-free scenic spots, 264 scenic spots in the country's 280 5A-level tourist attractions have established and implemented a time-sharing reservation system, accounting for about 94% of the total number of 5A-level scenic spots.

"Booking tours, staggered tours" is becoming an important guideline for scenic spots to strengthen scientific management, enhance tourist experience, and promote high-quality development.

[Explanation] The relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism said that the 2020 National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival will be superimposed, and the holiday will last as long as eight days. This is a "big benefit" for industry enterprises and a "big test" for management departments.

In terms of travel safety, management must be strengthened to prevent instantaneous gathering of people.

[Concurrent] Li Jian, Deputy Director of the Market Management Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism

One is to strengthen the safety management of tourist chartered cars, which is also the area where the most problems occur.

We guide travel agencies to select qualified and qualified vehicles and drivers, sign a standardized car rental agreement, and arrange the itinerary reasonably to avoid speeding, overloading, and fatigue driving.

The second is to do a good job of safety in key places.

We guide A-level tourist attractions to strengthen the management of key nodes such as entrances and exits, health code scanning areas, and important tourist spots, and do a good job in guiding and controlling tourists to prevent instantaneous gathering of people.

Focus on self-inspection of sightseeing cars, ropeways, cable cars, amusement and other facilities and equipment, and resolutely stop operation and use if safety requirements are not met.
