Dubai Economy Violates 22 establishments for non-compliance with precautionary measures

Dubai Economy confirmed that the inspection teams of the Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Sector in the department have continued their series of visits and field inspection tours in various parts of the emirate, as part of their continuous efforts to ensure compliance with the implementation of precautionary measures and measures aimed at curbing the spread of the emerging Covid-19 virus.

Yesterday, it carried out 673 visits.

During the inspection rounds, 22 different facilities were violated, 6 of which were violated in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council, which are bodybuilding halls, while the other facilities were violated by the inspection teams of the Commercial Supervision and Consumer Protection Sector, and were distributed over 6 retail stores. And two facilities for the trade of ready-made clothes, two establishments for the trade of textiles and fabrics, one for each of: transaction follow-up services, sewing and embroidery, a mill, mobile phone trade, building materials trade, and general trade.

The reasons for the violations were as follows: 19 violations for not wearing masks, and 3 violations for not taking the necessary measures to take into account the physical distance.
