Gasoline prices at gas stations nationwide have been on the decline for the fifth week.



According to the Korea National Oil Corporation's Oil Price Information Service Opinet on the 26th, weekly gasoline sales prices at gas stations nationwide in the fourth week of this month averaged 1,347.3 won per liter, down 6.7 won from last week.



Since the end of July, it has been declining for five consecutive weeks, and the decline has increased to 0.1 won, 0.6 won, 1.4 won and 5.1 won.



Gasoline at SK Energy's gas station was the most expensive, with an average of 1,355.1 won per liter, and an affordable gas station was the cheapest at 1,318.5 won.



The price of gasoline in Seoul, the highest priced area, was 1,439.3 won per liter, down 7.5 won per liter from last week, 92.0 won higher than the national average. The price of gasoline per liter in Jeju was 1,417 won, exceeding 1,400 won.



The average volatilization value in Daegu was 1,310.9 won per liter, down 7.6 won from last week, 36.5 won lower than the national average, showing the cheapest price.



Diesel prices also continued to decline.



The sales price of diesel in the fourth week of this month was 1,149.2 won per liter, down 6.8 won from last week.



International oil prices have risen slightly.



Dubai oil, which is the standard of crude oil imported into Korea, rose 0.5 dollars per barrel to 41.3 dollars, and international gasoline prices rose 0.5 dollars per barrel to 46.1 dollars.



The Korea National Oil Corporation analyzed that "the decline in US crude oil stocks, the US Fed chairman's promise to support economic recovery, and other declining factors such as Goldman Sachs' lower US 4Q economic growth outlook and Libya's resumption of oil exports show a steady trend." .
