The Fintech Hive Program of the Dubai International Financial Center, the first and largest business accelerator in the financial technology sector in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, has announced the launch of the second round of the Accelerated Hair Career Advising Program, which focuses on empowering women in the financial services field.

The program provides young ambitious young women with the tools and experience to expand their knowledge and work efficiently in this sector, as well as allow them to actively participate in the process of shaping the future of the financial sector, as it will start with the participation of 14 affiliates, offering them individual educational sessions, the opportunity to participate in a series of workshops and mentoring sessions, and other Activities.

The center affirmed in a statement yesterday that the representation of women in senior positions within the financial sector around the world is still relatively low, and that is why the Dubai International Financial Center has been working, since its establishment in 2004, to achieve gender parity, as the center includes many leaders Women who work in high positions within the authority of the center, today women constitute more than 60% of the total number of its employees, and 33% of the workforce that works in the largest financial system in the region.

Rajaa Al Mazrouei, Executive Vice President of Fintech Hive at the Dubai International Financial Center, said: “The first round of the (Accelerated Hair) program, which was launched in 2019, has achieved remarkable success, which prompted us to work with Fintech Hive partners to encourage Women from different parts of the world to join this program, as it provides them with an opportunity to develop their skills and develop their careers in the financial services sector, to be influential, and to push for more growth and prosperity for the sector in the future, as it is one of the initiatives that the DIFC seeks to achieve Drawing features of the future of the financial sector.

It is noteworthy that the second round of the "Accelerated Hair" program was launched on August 24th, and will continue until November 30th.
