Hong Kong Disneyland theme park will open its doors to the public again on Friday, after the park had to close in mid-July due to the increasing number of corona infections.

Just less than a month earlier, the park was allowed to reopen.

The park's website states that new rules apply with regard to social distancing.

"The handling of the Disney characters has been adjusted so that close contact is avoided."

There are also no live performances.

The park will reopen with a limited visitor capacity and will remain closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the exception of public holidays.

Anyone who wants to visit the park must make a reservation.

That must be a week before the planned visit. The temperature of visitors is also checked at the entrance and everyone has to wear a face mask. Throughout the park, visitors must keep their distance from each other.
