“When planning the spatial layout, we fully considered the central government’s strategic positioning of Beijing and the characteristics of Beijing’s industrial spatial layout, and selected the districts.”

  The first is the science and technology innovation area, with a total of 31.85 square kilometers, including 21.59 square kilometers of Zhongguancun Science City and 10.26 square kilometers of usable industrial space around Beijing Life Science Park.

Among them, the Zhongguancun Science City area mainly covers Cuihu Science and Technology Park, Yongfeng Base and the surrounding available industrial space. They and Beijing Life Science Park are several adjacent professional parks in the Zhongguancun National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone.
