The alligator caiman is a typical reptile of the humid regions of Paraguay.

They differ from crocodiles in slight nuances (type of snout, jaw and length), but not in essentials.

They both have two speeds. Slow;

not to say imperceptible, when they are on the ground, where they seem asleep, but are not.

In the water, just the opposite.

Thanks to the accelerated and complex movements of their tail, they become a terrible predator.
