The traffic jam worsens: the Administration that does not receive: the collapse in the Minimum Income and ERTE is contagious to pensions
The Council of Ministers approved this Tuesday
an extension of the deadlines for applicants for the Minimum Vital Income (IMV)
after the delays in the concessions of the benefit, so that the retroactive period is extended from September 15 to December 31 .
The beneficiaries will receive the aid with the total that would correspond to them from June 1.
As announced by the Government spokesperson, María Jesús Montero, at the press conference after the Council of Ministers, the beneficiaries will receive the benefit retroactively from June 1 once their request is resolved.
In addition, the deadline to resolve and notify applications is extended up to six months
, something that, according to the Government, will guarantee that "all applications received so far" are processed.
It has also been decided to
eliminate the prerequisite of being enrolled in employment services
as an obligation to request the minimum vital income, something that will be necessary once the benefit is recognized.
Finally, the Government will facilitate that
the current beneficiaries of the minimum income of the autonomous communities automatically become
the Minimum Income, "recognizing the resolutions" of the regional officials, explained Montero.
Other procedures have also been modified to expedite concessions.
These decisions have been included in the decree on telework approved this Tuesday.
