This is why, for 2021, they have implemented a new category of cars: hypercars!
According to the regulations, and to recreate the link between competition and cars that the public can dream of, these racing cars must also be produced in 20 copies for the road.

Toyota, the triple winner coming out of the legendary endurance race, is counting on being a candidate for its own succession with what you have in front of you.
The GR Super Sport made its dynamic debut in front of the cameras just before the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2020, on September 19 and 20.
It is a four-wheel-drive hybrid car, but the mechanical details are still secret.
According to the regulations of the new hypercar category, we only know that the maximum power will be 680 horsepower.
Surprise: unlike the racing prototype it replaces, this GR Super Sport is discoverable.
Will it remain so in its final version?
Answer in a few months, since the first appearances of the hypercars in the WEC championship should take place on March 19, 2021, in Sebring, USA.
