Between the e-tron SUV and the Sportback, it is obviously the design that changes the most, especially for the more streamlined rear part.

Consequence: the trunk volume loses 45 liters to display 555, and up to 1,655 liters by folding the rear seat.

Considering the weight and size of the machine (not far from 2.5 tonnes for 5 meters long!) It is also better that it is as streamlined as possible, and this is also the reason for the retro-cameras option, which replace the traditional retro-cameras.

Audi offers 2 versions of its e-tron Sportback: the "50" and the "55" from this test.

The first has a 71 kWh battery for a maximum power of 313 hp, the second has a 95 kWh battery and develops up to 408 hp.

In the latter case, the 2 engines (one per axle) deliver a total of 360 hp and 561 Nm of torque.

It is in fact in "boost" mode (foot to the floor) that the power reaches these 408 hp, and this for only 8 seconds.

350 km of range, at best

Needless to say, such paraphernalia requires a powerful charging system.

Because if you rely on a "simple" electrical outlet from the house, know that it will take about thirty hours to refuel.

Fortunately, the "Ionity" fast charging network (150 kW) can recover 80% of the charge in 30 minutes.

The others (11 or 22 kW) allow a full recharge between 4 and 8 hours.

Finally, note that some Lidl stores (the most recent) offer 50 kW fast terminals free of charge for customers.

At the same time, drivers of this vehicle costing nearly € 90,000, not sure that we will often see them doing their shopping at Lidl ... But who knows, to buy sneakers?

Regarding autonomy, Audi announces 446 km.

Let's be clear, it's impossible to reproduce!

From one extreme to the other, we noted between 250 km (high speed highways) and 350 km in very "calculated" driving in urban and peri-urban environment.

On board, all is calm and pleasure.

The materials are of high quality, of course, and the design is clean.

If you drive in Comfort mode and without stress, you have a real flying carpet that will take you around in absolute silence.

So much so that when you step back into a gasoline sedan, you will feel like you are stepping back in time to the caves.

More seriously, it must be recognized that in terms of comfort and pleasure, these machines take the concept of travel to a whole new dimension.

Of course, you just have to take into account the recharging depending on your movements but over time, it becomes a natural reflex.

Everything would obviously be perfect if it weren't for the price.

To the 86.6000 € requested for this "55" version (version 50 from 74.500 €), it will be necessary to add a few options.

Those of our test model had thus brought the final invoice to more than… 120,000 €.
