Smart application

Al-Suwaidi stated that the “my drone hub” application contains all the services and information an individual needs to use drones, starting from registering the plane in a few minutes, reaching the areas where that type of aircraft is used via an interactive map, and providing all the conditions and procedures in this application.

Multiple uses

Al-Suwaidi pointed to the increasing interest of many sectors in the country in using this technology, whose use and usefulness has emerged in several areas, the most important of which is the national sterilization program in the UAE in light of the "Covid-19" crisis, and periodic inspection and checks on gas and oil pipelines, and monitoring any errors or Leaking in it, monitoring and auditing of buildings and properties to meet health and safety requirements, and they are also used in the fields of research and development, especially in the field of artificial intelligence for academic majors and university studies, as well as the shipment of goods by air, aerial surveys to monitor roads, traffic analysis, aerial surveys of land and infrastructure. , Firefighting and civil defense operations, and security operations (escorts, search and analysis, and aerial photography).

License conditions

Al-Suwaidi touched on the conditions for obtaining a license to use drones, which differ according to the use, pointing out that it is a requirement for amateurs to register the aircraft, that the user is not less than 18 years old, that the aircraft conforms to the UAE technical specifications, and that the use is within the areas where use is permitted.
