[Poverty alleviation story] The tea planting road of coal bosses: ecological development creates "rich" for the people

[Explanation] In Qiling Town, Nayong County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province, coal mining was once the main source of income for the local people.

Since 2009, the local government has introduced a series of financial subsidy policies and technical guidance policies to guide "mining bosses" to invest in the development of modern agriculture.

Starting from coal, Tan Zhengyi, a local villager in Pingqing Village, started in 2009 and spent 11 years from "coal" to "tea", breaking through various restrictions that are not suitable for growing tea in high-altitude areas, and planting tea at an altitude of 2,300 meters On the high slope.

[Explanation] From "coal boss" to "tea planter", there is a lack of experience and technology across industries. In 2009, when the tea factory started its business, the tea planted experienced a fatal "cold" blow.

The freezing cold in winter, from November to March of the next year, for more than a quarter, the entire freezing tossed for several rounds.

The leaves, bark, and roots of the tea tree are all (frozen) dead, and they cannot survive.

[Explanation] In the 7,000-mu mountain ecological tea garden in Pingqing Village, Qiling Town, many villagers are doing daily tea management and protection.

The best altitude for tea planting is 800 to 1000 meters, but the tea factory is 2300 meters above sea level.

The initial test failed, family and friends all came out to discourage, but Tan Zhengyi did not give up on his choice.

Persevering in agriculture is not a simple matter. It has to withstand the blow of failure, the cold eyes of others, and even bankruptcy. We will be a dignified agricultural industry and a dignified farmer.

[Explanation] One year is not enough, and another year is not enough, and it is not enough to plant once and plant again.

In 2015, Tan Zhengyi explored a new planting method. Different from traditional tea planting, tea seedlings are planted in a "potted style". From low altitude cultivation to high altitude cultivation, this change makes the survival rate of tea from percent Fifty-one jumped to 70%.

In 2019, 7,000 mu of ecological tea factory was finally built in Qiling Town at an altitude of 2,300 meters.

Not only that, he also explored an eco-friendly planting method.

To solve the problem of fertilizer, the manure of ecological pigs is fermented by biogas and converted into biogas slurry as organic fertilizer.

Biogas becomes energy, fuel, and power generation becomes energy.

The grass cut in the tea garden was returned to farming as a supplement to feed, and this agriculture was replaced to make it solid.

[Explanation] There are 7000 mu of tea hills on the mountain and 10,000 pig farms under the mountain, and the eco-environmental high mountain tea planting drives the employment of more than 500 villagers in Qiling Town. Among them, there are more than 150 poor households in Qiling Town. people.

I can get three thousand yuan a month and thirty-six (thousand yuan) a year. This tea garden has work every day, and this income can be kept every month, so this life can reach a well-off life.

[Explanation] Having tasted the sweetness, Tan Zhengyi said that in the next step, he will aim at "agricultural and tourism integration" to drive more people who want to start a business, and create an ecological tea garden that integrates tourism, experience and leisure, and study and study Ecological development truly creates "rich" for the people.
