Gerdt also noted that the construction of Nord Stream 2 is unprofitable for the United States, and the struggle is being waged by "dirty political and economic methods."
“Those who advocate abandoning Nord Stream should tell their voters that as a result, energy prices will increase - a month for gas and electricity will have to pay 20% more,” summed up the Bundestag member.
Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada warned that if Nord Stream 2 is blocked, then the next goal for the United States will be the collapse of the gas transmission system of Ukraine.
According to the Prime Minister of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Manuela Schwezig, the project is 97% complete.
