According to the news on the website of the National Development and Reform Commission on the 18th, during the current round of refined oil price adjustment cycle (September 4-September 17), international oil prices dropped sharply.

On average, oil prices in London Brent and New York WTI dropped 9.29% from the previous price adjustment cycle.

Affected by this, the retail prices of domestic gasoline and diesel have been reduced accordingly.

  The specific circumstances of this oil price adjustment are as follows: gasoline is reduced by 315 yuan per ton, and diesel is reduced by 300 yuan per ton.

National average: 92 gasoline is reduced by 0.25 yuan per liter; 95 gasoline is reduced by 0.26 yuan per liter; 0 diesel is reduced by 0.26 yuan per liter.

According to the calculation of CCTV Finance, based on the 50L capacity estimation of a general family car's fuel tank, filling a tank of 92# gasoline will cost 12.5 yuan less.

This price adjustment is the fourth drop in the domestic product oil price adjustment window in 2020.

  On the news, the OPEC and non-OPEC ministerial-level joint supervision committees held a regular meeting on the 17th and announced that they would recommend to the OPEC and non-OPEC ministerial-level meetings the compensation that will expire in September. The production reduction mechanism was extended to the end of December this year, so that a number of oil-producing countries whose output exceeded their quotas fully fulfilled their production reduction obligations.

  Affected by this news, international oil prices closed on the 17th: the price of light crude oil futures for October delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose 2.02% to US$40.97 per barrel.

London Brent crude oil futures for delivery in November rose 2.56% to US$43.3 per barrel.

  Sino-Singapore Jingwei Client noticed that since this year, domestic refined oil prices have undergone 18 adjustments, of which 11 were stranded, 4 were lowered, and 3 were raised.

Among them, six times failed to adjust due to triggering the "floor price" protection mechanism.

  The next round of price adjustment window will open at 24:00 on October 9th. Jinlianchuang analyst Wang Shan believes that due to the impact of domestic holidays, this cycle is relatively prolonged, so there is still more uncertainty about the direction of price adjustment. At present, retail prices The probability of upward adjustment is greater.

  Longzhong Information analyst Li Yan also said that the recent international crude oil market prices have rebounded from this round of benchmarks, and it is expected that the probability of the next round of refined oil price adjustments will increase.
