In 2008, it signed a land development agreement with the Royal Government of Cambodia (Qixinghai), and established a wholly-owned company in Cambodia-Youlian Development Group Co., Ltd. (Youlian Group), responsible for the development and construction of the Seven Star Sea project in Cambodia.
On September 15, 2020, the US Department of the Treasury issued a statement claiming that it would impose sanctions on Union Group in accordance with the Global Magnitsky Bill of Rights and relevant US administrative orders.
Our company expresses strong dissatisfaction and resolute opposition to this.
A general overview of the charges listed by the United States for our company has no factual basis and is not worth refuting.

Charge 1: Youlian Group is a Chinese state-owned enterprise.
The truth is: China Tianjin Youlian Investment Development Group Co., Ltd. was established in 1994. It is an authentic local private enterprise in Tianjin and has never injected state-owned assets.
