DoCoMo account fraudulent withdrawal damage amounted to 27.6 million yen on September 17, 16:03

The damage caused by illegal withdrawal of deposits and savings at banks around the world is spreading through the electronic payment service "docomo account".

As of midnight on the 17th, NTT DoCoMo announced that the damage had increased to 157 cases at 11 banks nationwide, for a total of 27.6 million yen.

So far, 28 of the 35 banks linked to doCoMo accounts have stopped remittances between accounts, such as withdrawing deposits from bank accounts and charging them to doCoMo accounts.
