From the perspective of power generation, in August, the national industrial power generation above designated size rebounded rapidly, up 6.8% year-on-year, and the growth rate increased by 4.9 percentage points from the previous month. Among them, thermal power, hydropower, nuclear power, wind power, and solar power increased by 6.2% and 8.9 respectively. %, 0.9%, 18.7% and 2.1%.
The cumulative power generation growth rate from January to August turned from negative to positive for the first time, up 0.3% year-on-year.

In terms of different regions, 29 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) saw positive growth in electricity consumption in August.
Judging from the cumulative electricity consumption from January to August, 20 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the country achieved positive growth.
In terms of freight volume, in August, China's total freight volume increased by 4.8% year-on-year, and the growth rate was 1.9 percentage points higher than the previous month, which was a positive increase for four consecutive months.
The national railway freight volume increased by 6.5% year-on-year, and the port cargo throughput increased by 7.2% year-on-year, continuing to maintain a relatively rapid growth rate.
In terms of passenger transportation, since the second quarter, the passenger traffic of the whole society has rebounded month by month. The average daily passenger traffic in August reached 31.68 million, an increase of 10% over the previous month's average daily passenger traffic.
In terms of investment project approval, in August, the National Development and Reform Commission approved a total of 6 fixed asset investment projects, with a total investment of 88.2 billion yuan, mainly in the fields of transportation and information technology.
