For the first time since the inauguration of the National Tax Service Commissioner Kim Dae-ji, he instructed the heads of front-line tax offices to intensively monitor corporate and real estate transactions under their 30s.

In addition, it has announced that it will reduce tax audits and verification of reports in consideration of the economic conditions difficult due to Corona 19 this year.

Commissioner Kim, who took office on the 21st of last month, at the first national meeting of the heads of tax offices held today (15th) as a video conference ▲ Strict response to malicious tax evasion and arrears such as real estate tax evasion ▲ National tax administration supporting Corona 19 and economic leap ▲ Comfortable tax payment Supporting innovative service cleaning ▲ We proposed the implementation of a new organizational culture that meets the changes of the times as the direction of national tax administration.

Commissioner Kim urged us to eradicate the anomalous tax evasion that has been riding on the overheated real estate market.

In the process of acquiring multiple housing units and expensive apartments under 30s by corporations and private equity funds, the National Tax Service will be taxed by verifying the transfer of funds, and among them, intensively examining the debts and screening for expedient gifts.

If you buy a house with funds borrowed from a family or other related person, you will be intensively looking to see if the actual repayment will be made or whether it is an expedient gift.

Major verification targets include omission of rental income through borrowed accounts of high-priced/multi-homeowners, handling of false expenses by housing rental companies, and charges of unfair tax reduction.

In addition, tracking of concealed property of large and frequent arrears will be strengthened.

This year, we decided to expand on-site search, centering on an organization dedicated to nonpayment (Delinquency Taxation Division) established in the tax office this year, and actively conduct financial inquiries for relatives and relatives of high-income and frequent arrears.

The IRS warned that it would also sue neighbors who were caught supporting concealment.

We are also promoting measures to expand the collection assistance system, which was signed with the Japan National Tax Service in 2015, to various countries.

New types of offshore tax evasion verification, such as unfair overseas transfer transactions by non-profit corporations, will be strengthened, and an overseas real estate database will be established by the end of the year based on data reported to foreign exchange banks and the National Tax Service.

Considering the economic situation worsened by the spread of Corona 19, the National Tax Service decided to drastically reduce the number of tax audits this year to around 14,000 cases.

Compared to 2017-2019, which performed 16,000-16,000 cases per year, this is a reduction of about 2,000 cases.

The administration of ‘Confirmation of Report Contents’, in which the taxpayer's report is verified after the fact, has also been reduced by 20% compared to last year.

SMEs that maintain employment even in difficult conditions, such as a sharp decline in sales, are excluded from the regular tax audit selection until the end of next year, and SMEs that increase the number of employees by 2% or more are excluded from the survey and selection. (Sales) is expanded from less than 30 billion won' to less than 50 billion won in income.

The number of SMEs between 30 billion and 50 billion won in income is about 6,000.

Hometax, an online tax service, is starting to upgrade to'Hometax 2.0'.

Apart from the current method of guiding the reporting method centered on the tax law, Hometax 2.0 enables a question-and-answer report in which the taxpayer and the taxpayer are asked to fill in the items to be reported.

To use the Hometax website, the cluttered plug-in program that needs to be installed is completely removed, and the services of Mobile Hometax are also greatly expanded from 200 to 700.

The'electronic certificate issuance/distribution system' has been established so that the national tax certificate issued by Hometax can be submitted online to financial institutions, etc.
