The president of the Popular Party, Pablo Casado, has taken advantage of his intervention before the assembly of the Madrid employers' association CEIM to highlight the legal insecurity that exists in Spain due to, among others, the appointment

of the former Minister of Justice Dolores Delgado, as State Attorney General, as evidence, in her opinion, her restraint on investigations against the Government.

"Legal security is also listed on the Stock Exchange", he

stressed in a ceremony together with the president of CEOE, Antonio Garamendi, and the vice president Miguel Crespo.

"It cannot be that the Prosecutor's Office is dedicated to defending the Government that appointed her,"

said Casado after the decision not to see a crime and request the file of complaints against the Executive of Pedro Sánchez for the management of the pandemic.

He also stressed that the prosecution does not investigate irregular financing in Podemos.

"I already warned that a socialist deputy who was involved in a scandal of extortion against businessmen, journalists, judges and politicians could not be appointed a prosecutor

.

"

The president of the PP has used these arguments and the government's economic policy errors to justify not reaching agreements with Sánchez.

"Understand us, we cannot be accomplices," he told the limited audience of the Madrid employers.

It has guaranteed "full collaboration with the government", but to save companies or measures that it considers sensible

"and not to raise taxes, repeal the labor reform, touch pensions or salaries of officials or self-employed quotas."

The leader of the PP has announced the presentation of a proposal in Parliament to extend the grace period for credits endorsed by the Official Credit Institute (ICO) for one more year, which has been one of the relief measures requested in the same act of CEIM, by its president, Miguel Crespo.

The president of CEOE, Antonio Garamendi, has agreed with Casado that the Government generates "legal insecurity" although it has not entered into the situation of the Prosecutor's Office, but in the lurch with the labor reform.

And he has asked the Executive of Sánchez to "listen" to businessmen at the tables during these days of social dialogue.

It has shown that there is still no agreement either with the ERTEs, or in teleworking and gender equality projects.

For his part, the president of CEIM has requested new measures to support the Government that include "that the transition from ERTE to ERE for extraordinary causes occurs without the cost of compensation compromising the continuity of the companies."

Also "tax cuts, and the reimplantation of the contract to launch new activity."
