  The exhibition area of ​​this year's tea expo is 20,000 square meters, attracting more than 500 brand tea companies from 69 famous tea producing areas in China to participate.   According to reports, this is the first tea expo held in northeast China since the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia epidemic.

Many exhibitors told reporters that before they came they would worry about the impact of the epidemic on passenger flow. They never expected that the citizens of Changchun would be so enthusiastic about tea.

  This tea expo is hosted by Shenzhen Tea Culture Promotion Association and Shenzhen Huajuchen Industrial Co., Ltd.

Lin Chang, the regional project director of Huajuchen Tea Expo, said frankly that compared with the mature tea market in the south, the consumption potential of the northeast region is very large.

  In recent years, southern tea companies have gone northward to open up markets.

"Five or six years ago, Lancang Ancient Tea was almost blank in the Northeast market. At that time, we called ourselves'pioneers.'" said Zhang Pengyan, general manager of Lancang Ancient Tea Northeast Marketing Center, and it is still under development.

  Lin Chang told reporters that the phenomenon of southern tea companies going northward has been going on for decades, especially the new tea brands in the south, even though they are thousands of miles away, they will tirelessly go northward. Opening up the market here is not only low cost, but also competition among brands. It should be much less.

  Zheng Jiusen from Fujian started his tea business in the 1980s. Two years ago, he founded the white tea brand "Antique Products".

Zheng Jiusen plans to place 30-40% of his business in the Northeast market.

He said that more than a dozen dealers have come to discuss cooperation in the past two days.
