Yesterday, Thursday, the Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Sector closed a restaurant in the Satwa area, due to the distribution of free meals, which caused congestion, and passers-by gathered in front of it without observing the measures of physical distancing.


On the other hand, Dubai Economy, in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council, violated a bodybuilding gym, for not adhering to physical distancing, especially when receiving, in addition to the employees' lack of commitment to wearing masks.


The inspection tours carried out by the Commercial Supervision and Consumer Protection Sector on a daily basis cover all parts of the emirate, including open markets and commercial centers.

The number of commercial establishments that meet the requirements and precautionary measures reached 578 stores during Thursday's tour.
