In July, a total of 36.149 billion yuan of lottery tickets were sold nationwide, an increase of 3.415 billion yuan or 10.4% over the same period of the previous year (referred to as "year-on-year").
Among them, the sales of welfare lottery institutions were 15.436 billion yuan, an increase of 390 million yuan or 2.6% year-on-year; the sales of sports lottery institutions were 20.713 billion yuan, an increase of 3.025 billion yuan or 17.1%.
From January to July, the total sales of lottery tickets nationwide totaled 160.049 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 85.281 billion yuan or 34.8%.
Among them, the sales of welfare lottery agencies were 74.724 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 38.078 billion yuan, a decrease of 33.8%; the sales of sports lottery agencies was 85.325 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 47.202 billion yuan, a decrease of 35.6%.
In July, sales of lotto digital lottery tickets were 22.422 billion yuan, an increase of 3.306 billion yuan or 17.3% year-on-year; the sales of guessing lottery tickets were 9.310 billion yuan, an increase of 1.122 billion yuan or 13.7% year-on-year; the sales of instant lottery tickets were 2.674 billion yuan. A year-on-year increase of 468 million yuan, an increase of 21.2%; video-type lottery sales 1.729 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 1.479 billion yuan, a decrease of 46.1%; Keno-type lottery sales were 13 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 0.02 billion yuan, a decrease of 14.5%.
In July, the sales volume of lottery lottery, quiz, instant, video, and Keno accounted for 61.9%, 25.8%, 7.4%, 4.8%, and 0.1% of the total lottery sales.
From January to July, the sales of lotto digital lottery tickets totaled 112.644 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 17.696 billion yuan, a decrease of 13.6%; the sales of guessing lottery tickets were 26.392 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 44.88 billion yuan, a decrease of 62.6%; the sales of instant lottery tickets were 14.167 billion yuan. Billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 1.851 billion yuan, a decrease of 11.6%; video-type lottery sales were 6.794 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 21.604 billion yuan, a decrease of 76.1%; Keno-type lottery sales were 51 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 42 million yuan, a decrease of 44.9%.
From January to July, the sales volume of lotto numbers, quiz, instant, video, and Keno accounted for 70.3%, 16.5%, 8.9%, 4.2%, and 0.1% of the total lottery sales.
In July, compared with the same period last year, lottery sales in 28 provinces across the country increased, of which Guangdong, Jiangsu and Shaanxi increased more, with a year-on-year increase of 481 million yuan, 465 million yuan and 226 million yuan respectively. From January to July, compared with the same period last year, lottery sales in 30 provinces across the country declined.
