Yen exchange rate modest price change September 7 18:04

On the 7th of the week after the start of the week, the foreign exchange market in Tokyo and the yen exchange rate were modest price movements.

The yen exchange rate as of 5 pm was ¥106.19 to 20 sen, which is $1 weaker by 3 yen compared to last weekend.

Against the euro, the weaker yen by one yen compared to last weekend was 1 euro = 125.70 yen to 74 yen.

The euro was 1.1837-39 dollars against the dollar.

Market officials said, "The US unemployment rate announced last weekend was better than market expectations, and there were some moves to buy dollars. Because there are few market participants, many investors refrained from aggressive buying and selling, and price movements were limited."
