The Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Dubai (Dubai Tourism) confirmed an increase in the number of tourist, commercial and entertainment establishments that obtained the “Dubai Guarantee” DUBAI ASSURED seal, which indicates their compliance and implementation with all health and safety guidelines issued by the competent government agencies, pointing to 90 % Of hotel establishments in the emirate have the stamp, while the remaining hotels are subject to inspection, in preparation for obtaining it.

A statement issued yesterday stated that various establishments and companies can obtain the "Dubai Guarantee" seal after successfully passing all the initiative criteria, as part of the efforts made to reassure international travelers that Dubai is one of the safest destinations in the world.

The "Dubai Guarantee" stamp is given free of charge, and is valid for 15 days. It is renewed every two weeks after tours for the employees of the competent authorities to inspect these facilities.

According to the statement, most of the hotel establishments in Dubai have proven their commitment to health and safety requirements, as 90% of them obtained the "Dubai Guarantee" seal, while the remaining hotels are currently subject to the inspection process.

Seals were also inspected and given to all shopping malls and entertainment destinations for families, as well as retail stores in traditional markets including: Al Fahidi Market, Gold Souk, Spice Souk, Textile Souk, and Perfume Souk.

All indoor and outdoor attractions, such as parks and water parks, were inspected.

The Executive Director of Tourism Activities and Classification Sector at Dubai Tourism, Khaled Bin Touq, said that the success of the “Dubai Guarantee” initiative is a reflection of the effective management of the “Covid-19” pandemic at the state level in general, and at the city level in particular, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

He stressed that the success of the initiative also shows the extent of Dubai's commitment to preventive measures and its readiness to maintain public health, as well as reassuring travelers that they can expect the same level of safety in all stages of their journey, including places where they are directly dealt with.

Seal of "Safe Travel"

Dubai obtained the "Safe Travel" seal from the World Travel and Tourism Council, thanks to the strict procedures and safety and public health protocols it follows, in order to ensure the health of travelers, in light of the circumstances resulting from the "Covid-19" pandemic, and this strengthens its position as a safe destination, and the preferred option For everyone.
