China Mobile relies on 5G boutique private networks to provide network capabilities such as self-operation and maintenance, self-service, and self-development to realize "network as a service".

According to incomplete statistics, as of the end of July 2020, 99 network operators in 46 countries and regions have expressed to provide 5G services. According to Yin Yong, Deputy Mayor of Beijing, Beijing plans to achieve continuous outdoor coverage within the Fifth Ring Road and Beijing City Sub-center within the year, and accurate coverage of key areas and typical application scenarios outside the Fifth Ring Road.
