The Minister of Economy, Abdullah bin Touq Al-Marri, affirmed that the UAE continues its efforts to support the national economy, develop business, and work closely with all partners to enhance opportunities and address various challenges, within a clear vision expressed by the objectives of the flexible package and the general plan of 33 initiatives. To support the economic sectors, which were recently approved by the UAE government, and the Ministry of Economy supervises their implementation, in cooperation with the concerned authorities, stressing coordination to enhance the benefit from the plan of initiatives to develop the economy.

During the meeting, the economy ministers reviewed the most prominent initiatives of the flexible package and the 33rd plan initiative to activate the activities and business that the Ministry and its partners are working on, and ways to enhance the benefit of business owners from its outputs, and communication and coordination to develop the partnership between the government and the private sectors during the next phase, and work in a coordinated manner to explore opportunities Growth, monitor and address all challenges in the business sector.

Al-Marri said that Emirati companies have achieved, over the past years, global leadership and a distinguished reputation in many economic fields, which is clearly reflected in the competitiveness, strength, diversity and sustainability of the national economy.

He added: “From here, we attach great importance to supporting local business owners, enhancing the success of national companies, and expanding their contribution to economic growth. We will also open continuous and direct communication channels with the business sector, and we will enhance our presence in the market to see the effectiveness of the efforts made to support the economic sectors. We support exploring new opportunities and potentials for growth, following up on various developments and challenges, and developing appropriate plans and solutions for them.

For his part, Al Falasi indicated that the meeting with the owners of companies and businesses comes within the framework of keenness to develop partnership, work to support growth opportunities in these companies, and confirm the government's interest in supporting national family companies, in their various fields of activity.

In turn, Al-Zeyoudi said, “We are working on diversifying opportunities for national companies, enhancing their share in the local markets, and at the same time supporting their export capabilities and removing trade obstacles in front of them, to enhance their access to foreign markets and open new markets for their products and services”, stressing the Ministry of Economy’s keenness to include requirements And the needs of the market and the business sector, within the objectives of the flexible package and the 33-plan initiative to support economic sectors, and the continuity and growth of various business activities in the country.
