The new Caddy is not yet on sale, yet Volkswagen has already presented its California version, a small, compact (4.50 m long) and affordable motorhome designed for two people.
Inside, a bed unfolds above the trunk.
And it is better to be very in love to occupy it for two, since it is only 1.98m long and only… 1.07m wide!

In the trunk, a removable box accommodates two chairs and a table, as well as a gas stove and a small worktop.
As an option, a partially inflatable tent can be attached to the rear of the vehicle to add a living room or additional sleeping space.
In the passenger compartment, blinds allow the windows to be hidden while two saddlebags are provided for the storage of drivers' belongings.
VW Caddy California - DR
For its launch, the Caddy will be available with two TDI mechanics of 75 and 122 hp.
The most powerful version can also be equipped with 4Motion all-wheel drive.
An extended version of the California (4.85 m) will also be marketed in 2021.
