[Explanation] On September 1, the lattice girder of the Pingnan Third Bridge in Guigang City, Guangxi Province was successfully closed.

At this point, the main steel structure of the 15,000-ton bridge has been installed, and the main bridge has been connected from north to south.

  The lattice girder on the bridge deck is closed, which means that we can now pass the bridge from the south bank to the north bank.

What about the closing of this bridge and lattice beam.

It laid the most solid foundation for our next bridge deck construction.

We expect that this bridge, Pingnan Third Bridge, will be completed and opened to traffic at the end of this year.

  [Explanation] Pingnan Third Bridge is a super large bridge across the Xunjiang River.

The total length of the bridge is 1,035 meters, and the main bridge span is 575 meters. After it is completed and opened to traffic, it will become the world's largest span arch bridge.

  [Explanation] It is understood that the full bridge lattice girder of Pingnan Third Bridge has 37 sections, the standard section is 36.5 meters wide, 15.5 meters long, and weighs 142 tons; the reference section is 16.9 meters long and weighs 190 tons; the total bridge lattice girder The steel consumption is 5500 tons.

Bolt-welded combined joints are used between the segments, and a total of 24272 high-strength bolts are used to firmly fix the joints.

  In this way, one is to speed up our construction progress and also ensure the quality and accuracy of our installation.

At present, the entire (between control segments) misalignment deviation is within two millimeters.

  [Explanation] It is reported that the smooth closing of the lattice girder of the Pingnan Third Bridge marks another staged progress in the construction of the bridge and a solid step towards achieving the goal of opening to traffic at the end of the year.

In the next stage, construction operations such as cable system removal and bridge deck paving will be entered.
