Strangely looking like the AMG GT, at least as far as we can judge from these images, the two pre-production Mercedes SLs photographed by Mercedes are still fully camouflaged. Compared to the previous generation, the convertible will abandon its retractable roof in favor of a "good old" canvas top. However, it is above all the general philosophy of the car that will evolve towards more sportiness, which explains the involvement of AMG in its development.
Based on a platform made mostly of aluminum, the SL will be presented next year.
