The authority indicated that this step came under the slogan "Watch yourself, avoid cheating", as the smart application can be easily downloaded on smart mobile devices through the "App Store" and "Google Play", explaining that the application bears the name: "FTA DTS" ".

She indicated that the new application allows the consumer to scan the stamp installed on the package of cigarettes or tobacco and its products, to ensure that it is a digital tax stamp approved by the authority. After scanning the stamp, it is clarified whether the stamp is approved or not, and if it becomes clear that the stamp is not approved, the consumer can To submit a report to the authority through the application, for the authority to play its role in cooperation with the concerned authorities to take legal action regarding the violators.
