Coupang announced on the 24th that an employee working at the headquarters building in Songpa-gu, Seoul, was diagnosed with Corona 19 while working from home and closed the office building.
Coupang said that the employee has been working from home since his last visit to the headquarters building on the 14th of this month, and was inspected the day before and notified of the confirmation that day.
An official from Coupang explained, "It has been about ten days since the employee visited the office building, but in case of an emergency, we closed it down."
Coupang closed the office building and performed additional quarantine, and informed all employees of the headquarters via text and verbal notification, and took measures to return home.
